Last week in Milwaukee, Healthfuse launched commercialized machine learning vendor management services, allowing hospitals complete transparency into how outsourced revenue cycle partners are working patient accounts.

“RCM outsourcing is a $30B industry. As outsourcing continues to grow, and reimbursement continues to decline, it is increasingly important for hospitals toproactively manage their revenue cycle partners,” states Healthfuse President and CEO, Nick Fricano. “With machine learning, we are able to spend time closing process gaps, rather than searching to find them.”

While Healthfuse has utilized an automated auditing tool for some time, this technology is now available for hospitals to utilize in support of their current efforts. It has been proven to increase revenue cycle vendor collection performance by 20-30% through its ability toproactively notice trends in vendor workflows.

Healthfuse is the leading provider of revenue cycle vendor management services, working with over 60 hospitals and health systems to reduce cost and increase collection performance of revenue cycle vendors.
